A Building Safety Case is required by the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) for each high-rise building to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the development and its fire safety capabilities. The Building Safety Case forms part of the “golden thread of information” and is a key component of the application for a Building Assessment Certificate.
The BSR is inviting developments to apply for the Building Assessment Certificate in order of priority, and we will ensure that this invitation is shared with you as soon as it is received.
Jennings & Barrett appoints a third-party specialist contractor to prepare the Building Safety Case. As part of this process, we provide extensive supporting information to facilitate the work.
The costs associated with this support vary depending on the development’s needs, complexity, availability of information, and the level of resources required to assist in producing the Building Safety Case. Once we have a clear understanding of the time investment required from Jennings & Barrett, we will share this with you as the Principal Accountable Persons (PAPs).
